Three Women Abducted After Armed Assailants Storm House in Sehwan Village

Sehwan:Three women were abducted after armed assailants broke into a house in the village of Jan Muhammad Bhatti, according to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Zafar Siddiqi.
The SSP said the incident occurred when suspects forcibly entered the house and kidnapped the women. A case has been registered against 20 individuals under the Anti-Terrorism Act, and two suspects have so far been arrested in connection with the crime.
Police officials stated that the incident is linked to an ongoing dispute between two communities. A young man had earlier contracted a marriage of choice with a woman from a rival community, which led to tensions between the groups. In retaliation, members of the opposing group allegedly carried out the abduction.
SSP Zafar Siddiqi added that raids are ongoing to recover the abducted women. During the operation, two people were injured in an exchange of fire. Authorities said efforts are being intensified to ensure the safe recovery of the victims and the arrest of all those involved.
