Largest Education Scandal Uncovered in Balochistan: Fake Admissions in Medical Colleges, Rechecking of Four Years’ Intermediate Papers Ordered

**Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta):** The biggest education scandal in Balochistan’s history has come to light, revealing that admissions to medical and other professional colleges over the past four years were granted on the basis of fake mark sheets and forged academic certificates.

Following orders of the Balochistan High Court, the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE) has constituted an investigation committee to scrutinize records from 2021 to 2025. The committee will conduct a comprehensive audit and rechecking of Intermediate examination results.

BBISE Chairman Muhammad Ishaq stated that a three-member committee has been formed under the leadership of Controller of Examinations Zia-ul-Haq Kakar. The committee also includes Under Secretary of the Colleges Department Arshad Ahmed and IT expert Akshay Kumar.

The committee will examine the mark sheets and certificates of students who completed FSc and secured admissions in medical and other professional colleges during the last four years. Examination papers will be retrieved and rechecked online, and results will be compared to identify any discrepancies or unlawful changes in marks.

The board has also decided to publish advertisements in one English and two Urdu newspapers, inviting individuals to submit evidence if they possess information about candidates who allegedly obtained additional marks through corruption.

Authorities have termed the development a serious breach of merit and transparency, vowing strict action against those found involved in the scandal after completion of the investigation.
