India Approaches Pakistan for Fast Bowlers’ Training and Guidance, Reveals Aqib Javed

**Islamabad (Qudrat Daily):**
Former Pakistani fast bowler and Director of High Performance at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Aqib Javed, has revealed that India has approached Pakistan for the training and guidance of its fast bowlers.
Aqib Javed shared this disclosure during a podcast aired on the PCB’s official channel, where he spoke in detail about the future of Pakistan cricket, the high-performance structure, training programs, and other key aspects of player development.
He explained that under the PCB’s Overseas Players Program, cricketers from around the world are offered opportunities to receive coaching and training in Pakistan. As part of this initiative, players from the Netherlands and England have recently visited Pakistan to benefit from its coaching facilities.
Aqib Javed emphasized that unless Pakistan challenges itself at the international level, it is difficult to assess where the country stands globally and how strong its coaching systems and structures truly are. He added that through the same overseas program, calls have also been received from India seeking guidance for fast bowlers.
During the podcast, the host remarked that Indian and Pakistani players are often seen avoiding even handshakes with each other. Responding with a smile, Aqib Javed said that while public perception may differ, cricket administration operates in its own way.
It is noteworthy that relations between Pakistan and India have remained tense following the May conflict, and both countries are currently not touring each other’s home grounds for cricketing events.
