Junaid Safdar, Son of Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz, Set to Remarry in January

Lahore:Preparations are in full swing for the second marriage of **Junaid Safdar**, son of Punjab Chief Minister **Maryam Nawaz**, with the wedding scheduled for January next year.

According to Geo News, former National Assembly member **Sheikh Roohail Asghar** revealed in a recent interview that Junaid Safdar’s upcoming marriage is with his granddaughter, **Shanze**.

Explaining the connection, Roohail Asghar said that his granddaughter Shanze is a close friend of **Mahnoor**, the younger daughter of Maryam Nawaz. “They often visited each other’s homes, and that’s how they became acquainted. They liked my granddaughter, and a proposal was initiated,” he said.

Roohail Asghar added that a few months ago, initial discussions took place, and the wedding date was finalized. The wedding ceremonies are planned for **January 16, 17, and 18**, and will be celebrated with grandeur. He mentioned that **only close family and friends have been invited**.

It is worth noting that Junaid Safdar had confirmed his divorce from his previous wife on Instagram in **October 2023**.
