Imran Khan Weakened His Own Case, No One Ready to Stand Surety for Him: Khawaja Saad Rafique

Lahore: Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Khawaja Saad Rafique, has said that PTI founder Imran Khan damaged his own case and today no one is willing to give surety on his behalf.
Addressing a ceremony in Lahore, Khawaja Saad Rafique said that conflict and chaos can never lead a country forward. He stated that Nawaz Sharif should come forward to help stabilize the country, adding that Pakistan was saved from bankruptcy due to the efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
He reiterated that Imran Khan himself weakened his legal position and as a result, no one is prepared to provide guarantees in his favor.
Meanwhile, Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar said that the country today needs a national dialogue and a political charter. He emphasized that no country can progress without political and economic stability.
PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah stated that arson and violence on May 9 were carried out under a planned conspiracy. He added that political instability arises when political parties refuse to engage in dialogue and negotiations.
