Punjab to hold honahar scholarship, laptop distribution ceremonies across nine divisions

LAHORE: The Punjab government will organise Honahar Scholarship and laptop distribution ceremonies across all nine divisions of the province in October and November, Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has announced.

As per a report, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will distribute scholarships and laptops to students from Sahiwal, Okara and Pakpattan on October 15 at the University of Sahiwal.

However, in a social media post, Hayat said the government would hold similar events in the remaining divisions over the next few weeks.

Moreover, the initiative is part of the Punjab government’s efforts to support students through financial assistance and access to technology.
