Crew Member Killed in Accident on PNSC Vessel Carrying Petrol from UAE

A Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) vessel carrying petrol from Fujairah Port in the United Arab Emirates met with an accident during operations at sea, resulting in the death of a crew member.

According to PNSC sources, the incident occurred while cleaning one of the ship’s tanks. Due to negligence during the process, a crew member lost his life on the spot.

Sources further said that the ship’s pump man was also injured in the accident; however, his condition is reported to be out of danger.

PNSC officials confirmed that the body of the deceased crew member has been dispatched from Gwadar Port to his native area in Bhakkar for burial.
