Maryam Nawaz Highlights Punjab’s Development, Praises Air-Conditioned Bus Service

Muzaffarabad: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif highlighted her government’s development initiatives during a public address in Muzaffarabad, saying Punjab’s air-conditioned public bus service has become highly popular among commuters.
Referring to the transport project, she said that due to the hot weather in Punjab, many passengers travel in the air-conditioned buses so comfortably that they fall asleep and have to be informed when they reach their destination.
Maryam Nawaz said she had come before the people not merely to make promises but to present the performance of her government over the past two years.

Addressing the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, she said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was not seeking votes alone but was committed to bringing development to the region. She pledged that if elected, the party would work to transform the future of Azad Kashmir.
The Punjab Chief Minister urged people to compare areas governed by the PML-N with those under other administrations, saying the difference in development and public services would be evident.
She also claimed that after crossing from Punjab into Azad Kashmir while traveling from Murree to Muzaffarabad, there was a noticeable difference in road infrastructure, cleanliness, development, and public transport. She added that development projects are continuing across Punjab and said students in the province’s “Nawaz Sharif Schools of Eminence” are receiving free education of international standards.
