OGRA Teams Ensure Full Petrol Supply Across Pakistan

**Islamabad:** The Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has deployed enforcement teams nationwide to ensure motorists receive the full quantity of petrol at fuel stations. This move aims to protect consumer interests and ensure compliance with rules and regulations.

According to OGRA, specialized teams have been formed to inspect petrol pumps in various cities. OGRA Chairman Masroor Khan personally visited several fuel stations with the enforcement team to assess the situation, identify consumer issues, and review operational procedures at the pumps.

During the inspections, teams checked the legal status of petrol stations, verified licenses and other essential documentation, and conducted a detailed review of petroleum product stocks to detect any shortages or illegal hoarding. OGRA officials emphasized the importance of providing consumers with accurate and full petrol quantities.

Chairman Masroor Khan instructed the enforcement teams to strictly enforce regulations and warned that violations of OGRA rules would be dealt with without exception.

This initiative comes amid recent rumors regarding potential reductions in petroleum prices. OGRA had previously dismissed such reports and confirmed that petrol prices would remain unchanged as of December 15. The authority clarified that all decisions regarding fuel pricing are made in accordance with federal government directives at the designated schedule.
