Comprehensive Review of Treatment and Facilities at Civil Hospital Quetta; Mir Liaqat Leghari Praises Government Initiatives

*Quetta (Daily Qudrat)* Parliamentary Secretary for Transport, Mir Liaqat Leghari, conducted a detailed inspection of the Medicine Ward at Civil Hospital Quetta. Focal person Idrees Agha guided him through various wards, providing an extensive briefing on medical facilities, available medicines, diagnostic systems, and overall hospital management.
During the visit, Mir Liaqat Leghari appreciated the doctors’ timely attendance, the round-the-clock efforts of nursing and paramedical staff, and their professionalism, noting their key role in delivering quality healthcare despite limited resources. He also met patients and their families, inquiring about treatment, medicines, and other services, carefully considering their feedback.
The parliamentary secretary commended the performance of Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar for ensuring modern medical equipment, efficient administrative management, and timely, high-quality patient care. He emphasized that the current provincial government prioritizes the health sector and is taking concrete steps to enhance hospital facilities, improve staff capacity, and address public grievances promptly.
Mir Liaqat Leghari added that timely and quality medical care is a fundamental right of every citizen, and the government has both constitutional and moral responsibility to ensure it. He assured that all possible cooperation would be provided in collaboration with relevant departments to further enhance public welfare projects and modernize government hospitals in line with contemporary standards.
