CM Sarfraz Bugti Praises CTD, Police for Foiling Panjgur Bank Attacks; Salutes Sacrifice of Martyred Constable Dura Khan

*Quetta (Daily Qudrat)* Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has lauded the timely, professional and courageous response of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and police following armed attacks on banks and properties in Panjgur, saying their swift action prevented major loss of life and property.

The chief minister said the immediate and effective operation by security forces averted further casualties and financial damage. He praised CTD and police personnel for displaying exceptional bravery, dedication and professional competence while ensuring the safety of the public, calling their actions a source of pride for the entire nation.

Paying glowing tribute to CTD Constable Dura Khan, who embraced martyrdom during the operation, CM Bugti said the fallen officer demonstrated extraordinary courage and devotion to duty by laying down his life for the protection of the country and its people. “Such sacrifices will never be forgotten, and the nation will always remain indebted to its brave sons,” he added.

The chief minister also expressed deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of a civilian shopkeeper in the incident, offering prayers for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and patience for the bereaved families.

Reiterating the government’s resolve, CM Sarfraz Bugti stated that there was no place for terrorism, robbery or criminal elements in Balochistan. He emphasized that the state would continue decisive and unwavering action against anti-state and law-breaking elements to ensure lasting peace and security in the province.
