Good News for Citizens: Petroleum Prices Likely to Drop by Up to Rs11

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — In a major relief for the public, petroleum product prices in Pakistan are expected to decrease by up to **Rs11 per liter** in the next four days.
According to *Express News*, from **December 16**, petrol and other petroleum products may become significantly cheaper as the concerned departments have completed the initial working on the price review.
Sources reveal the following expected reductions:
* **Petrol:** Rs0.36 per liter
* **High-Speed Diesel:** Rs11.85 per liter
* **Kerosene Oil:** Rs11.70 per liter
* **Light Diesel:** Rs10.01 per liter
OGRA will send the price summary to the government on **December 15**, and after the Prime Minister’s approval, the Petroleum Division will issue the official notification.
If approved, the new expected prices will be:
* **Petrol:** Rs263.09 per liter
* **High-Speed Diesel:** Rs270.80 per liter
* **Kerosene Oil:** Rs181.16 per liter
* **Light Diesel:** Rs153.76 per liter
These reductions are anticipated to provide meaningful financial relief to the public amid rising inflation.
