BPSC Must Be Made More Transparent; Delivering Rights to the Deserving Is the Duty of Institutions: Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail

**Quetta (Daily Qudrat)** — Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has emphasized that institutions play a crucial role in upholding merit and ensuring that rights are delivered to the deserving. He said it is encouraging to see students from remote areas of the province securing top positions in competitive examinations despite limited resources.

Speaking at Governor House Quetta during a meeting with the acting Chairman of the Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC), Ghulam Ali Baloch, the governor urged the commission’s leadership and team to further strengthen the institution’s transparency and efficiency so that merit can truly prevail.

Governor Mandokhail highlighted that close coordination between universities and schools is essential for a strong education system. He noted that as school students progress into universities, they carry with them the foundations of knowledge and skills, while universities in return provide trained teachers equipped with modern teaching techniques, new ideas, and subject expertise for smaller educational institutions.

He added that university fine arts departments can play a significant role in producing graduates capable of teaching fine arts and drawing at various levels. Maintaining a balanced relationship between universities and schools, he said, can lead to significant improvements in the overall education system.

The governor stressed that BPSC must continue to ensure that its examinations and interviews select highly capable officers for the province so that the desired outcomes of development and prosperity can be achieved without delay.
