PPP Confident of Winning Quetta Mayor and Town Chairmen Seats; Election Cell to Be Strengthened: Ali Madad Jattak

Quetta (Daily Qudrat) — Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders in Balochistan have expressed strong confidence that the party will achieve clear victory in the upcoming local government elections, citing party discipline, an effective public outreach campaign, and unity among workers. They emphasized that strengthening the election cell is essential, and under the leadership of Senator Rozi Khan Kakar, the party will move forward with a cohesive and active organizational structure. They stated that the mayor of Quetta and all town chairmen will be dedicated PPP workers.
These views were expressed by PPP Balochistan Assembly Deputy Parliamentary Leader Haji Ali Madad Jattak, head of the election cell Senator Rozi Khan Kakar, and Syed Iqbal Shah while addressing workers at the Civil Secretariat on Tuesday. The event marked Senator Rozi Khan Kakar formally assuming his responsibilities at the election cell office. PPP leaders Nooruddin Kakar, Qasim Khan Achakzai, Akhtar Baloch, Shahjahan Gujar, senior party workers, and Quetta city office-bearers were also present.
Ali Madad Jattak announced that from now on, Rozi Khan Kakar would directly lead PPP’s campaign for the Quetta local government elections, and all organizational and electoral matters would be handled through the election cell. He stated that the PPP would secure significant victories at the local level due to party discipline, strong grassroots connections, and worker unity. Strengthening the election cell, he added, was a timely necessity, and under Senator Kakar’s leadership, the party would continue to build a dynamic and effective organizational setup.
Syed Iqbal Shah remarked that the PPP would emerge as a strong, organized, and active force in the local government elections. He called on party workers to fulfill their responsibilities with dedication, as a strong local government system is key to resolving public issues.
Speaking on the occasion, former senator and election cell head Rozi Khan Kakar expressed gratitude to Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, President Asif Ali Zardari, Faryal Talpur, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Parliamentary Leader Mir Sadiq Umrani, and Deputy Parliamentary Leader Mir Ali Madad Jattak for their trust and support. He said the election office belongs to all party workers, and everyone will be taken on board with full cooperation and equal opportunity.
Rozi Khan Kakar reaffirmed that the PPP would contest the Quetta local government elections with a strong, well-organized, and united strategy. With the support of workers, he said, the party aims to secure excellent results. He added that serving the public has always been the party’s top priority, and effective representation at the local level will ensure timely resolution of public issues. He urged workers and candidates to run their campaigns in an organized manner and strengthen their engagement with the people.
