Section 144 Imposed in Quetta: Ban on Double Riding, Weapon Display, Gatherings of Over Five People Until December 22

Quetta (Daily Qudrat): The **Government of Balochistan, Home Department** has imposed **Section 144** in Quetta district, banning the display and use of weapons, double riding on motorcycles (except for women and children), use of tinted windows on vehicles, movement of unregistered motorcycles, gatherings of five or more people, processions, rallies, and covering faces with mufflers or masks in public places.
The order, effective until **December 22, 2025**, also prohibits the transportation of **acid and explosive materials** within the district. Police, Levies, and Frontier Corps have been given strict authority to enforce these restrictions. Violators will face legal action under **Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code** and other relevant laws.
The Home Department has directed the **Deputy Commissioner of Quetta** to submit daily reports on the enforcement of these restrictions.
