Karachi Clash Case Registered After Violence Near FTC on Shahrah-e-Faisal

A case has been registered by the state at the **Soldier Bazaar Police Station** following violent clashes involving participants of a rally near FTC on Karachi’s Shahrah-e-Faisal.
The FIR includes charges related to **terrorism, rioting, property damage**, and other serious offences. According to police, **12 nominated suspects have been arrested**, while **over 300 unidentified individuals** have also been booked.
The FIR states that a rally consisting of **300–400 participants** reached the area. When police attempted to stop them, the demonstrators allegedly blocked both tracks of Shahrah-e-Faisal.
According to the report, members of the rally **attacked police with sticks, stones, and gunfire**, and also caused damage to a **Red Bus, a police mobile, and an ambulance**.
The clash occurred during a **Sindhi Culture Rally**, where protesters reportedly pelted police with stones at the FTC point. Police responded with **tear gas shelling** to disperse the crowd, after which demonstrators shattered the windows of a police vehicle.
Sources confirm that following the unrest, **the road was reopened for traffic on Sunday night**.
