Air Travel Becomes Expensive as Airline Ticket Prices Surge Amid Jet Fuel Hike

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) – Airline passengers across Pakistan are facing significant challenges as domestic and international flight ticket prices have surged sharply due to rising jet fuel costs.
Sources report that one-way fares from Karachi to Lahore and Islamabad have increased by up to PKR 10,000, with some tickets now exceeding PKR 50,000. International flights have also seen major price hikes. One-way fares on Middle Eastern routes have risen by approximately PKR 20,000, while economy-class tickets to destinations like Dubai, Doha, and Saudi Arabia now exceed PKR 400,000.
Flights to European and North American destinations such as Paris, Toronto, and Manchester have also recorded substantial fare increases.
Experts warn that if fuel prices do not stabilize, air travel could become even more expensive in the coming days, making it increasingly difficult for ordinary passengers to afford flights.
