Crackdown on Fake Doctors and Substandard Medicines in Khuzdar: 12 Clinics and One Laboratory Sealed, Indian Medicines Recovered

**Khuzdar:** Acting on the directives of the Deputy Commissioner Khuzdar, Assistant Commissioner **Abdul Hafeez Kakar**, along with a Health Department team, launched a major crackdown against fake doctors and substandard medicines in Khuzdar city and surrounding areas.

A joint team comprising AC Khuzdar Abdul Hafeez Kakar, District Health Officer **Dr. Naseem Lango**, and Drug Inspector **Abdul Rasheed** conducted raids in Jaffarabad and Kherawah. During the inspection of **20 private clinics and one suspicious laboratory**, authorities sealed **12 illegal clinics** and **one laboratory** on the spot.

Several medical stores were found selling **government-labelled medicines** and **banned Indian pharmaceutical brands**, which were immediately confiscated. Legal action against the violators is now underway.

Deputy Commissioner Khuzdar **Abdul Razzaq Sasoli** appreciated the efforts of the assistant commissioner and his team, calling the operation a major step aligned with public expectations. He stated that those endangering public health will not be spared, and actions against fake doctors, unregistered clinics, and illegal medicines will continue across the district.

Local residents and representatives of various social groups also praised the administration and Health Department for this significant move. They noted that, for the first time, multiple medical stores and a laboratory have been sealed—fulfilling a long-standing public demand for strict action against quack doctors and substandard medicines. They commended the Deputy Commissioner’s leadership and urged that such operations continue to protect public health.
