Balochistan Gov’t Moves to Tighten Noose Around Banned Outfit Leaders Abroad; Red Notices to Be Issued via Interpol

QUETTA: The Balochistan government has decided to intensify action against the foreign-based leadership of banned militant organizations and more than 300 terrorists involved in attacks across the province. The decision was taken during a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, where extraordinary measures were approved to dismantle terrorist networks.

During the meeting, it was resolved that prosecution of cases registered against the leadership of banned groups — including **BLA, BLF, UBA, BRG, and Lashkar-e-Balochistan** — would be accelerated. The chief minister directed the provincial government to expedite the process of issuing **Interpol Red Notices** through coordination with the federal interior and foreign ministries.

Officials briefed the meeting with evidence, including call recordings and documented links between foreign-based militant commanders and their local facilitators. A **swift and comprehensive crackdown** against these foreign commanders and their domestic networks was approved.

Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti stated that effective action against all elements involved in terrorism—whether operating within Pakistan or from abroad—is unavoidable.
“Those who have shed blood on Balochistan’s soil will not be allowed to hide anywhere in the world,” he said. “It is our responsibility to expose the true face of these so-called political fronts of terrorist organizations.”

He instructed law enforcement agencies to intensify operations under revised anti-terrorism laws and directed the provincial home department to further strengthen the action cell established under the Provincial Action Plan.

The chief minister also ordered the preparation of a **complete list of all terrorist leaders and their facilitators**, ensuring that all available evidence is documented and shared with the federal government for presentation at international forums.
He emphasized that Pakistan has now entered a decisive phase where the state’s authority must be upheld at all costs.

“The foreign agendas behind terrorism stand exposed. Balochistan will no longer fall victim to external manipulation,” Bugti asserted. “There is zero tolerance against enemies of Pakistan and Balochistan — every facilitator will be hunted down. There will be no compromise on peace, public safety, or the dignity of the state.”
