One Killed, Another Injured in Hand Grenade Attack on Tribal Leader’s House in Dera Bugti

**Dera Murad Jamali:** One person was killed and another seriously injured after unidentified armed men hurled a hand grenade at the residence of a tribal leader in Dera Bugti, police said.

According to officials, the incident took place in the Sui area, where unknown assailants riding a motorcycle threw a hand grenade at the house of tribal elder Wadera Sherdil Karamzai Bugti. The grenade exploded with a loud blast, killing his son, Jabbar Bugti, on the spot and critically injuring another son, Aziz Bugti.

Following the attack, the armed suspects fled the scene. Police and security forces rushed to the site and shifted the deceased and the injured to a nearby hospital. After necessary legal formalities, the body was handed over to the family. The injured victim was provided initial medical treatment and later referred to a hospital in Rahim Yar Khan for further care.

Security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation, while investigations into the incident are underway.
