Balochistan Faces Weather Emergency; CM Sarfraz Bugti Warns Against Road Blockades During Rescue Operations

Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that the province is facing a severe weather emergency, with the entire government machinery actively engaged in rescue and relief operations. He stressed that protecting human lives and ensuring the supply of relief goods to affected areas are the government’s top priorities.

The chief minister warned that protests and road blockades during this critical time are not a form of politics but amount to hostility against human lives. He said such actions sabotage rescue and relief efforts and put innocent lives at risk. “Political differences can be addressed later, but people’s lives cannot wait,” he added.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that the provincial government will not allow any distraction from its core responsibility of public safety. He urged all political and social forces to show responsibility and cooperate with the government instead of creating obstacles.

Reiterating his stance, the chief minister said that the entire state machinery is present in the field to deal with the ongoing weather emergency. He appealed to all stakeholders to stand shoulder to shoulder with the public in this difficult time and support rescue and relief efforts.
