Criminals Face Major Crackdown in Quetta: 101 Suspects Arrested, Large Cache of Weapons Seized

*Quetta (Daily Qudrat)* — Quetta police have arrested 101 suspects over the past 15 days during an extensive crackdown on criminal elements, recovering large quantities of drugs, illegal weapons, and stolen vehicles.
According to police, the operations led to the seizure of **65 kilograms of hashish**, **27 pistols**, **1 Kalashnikov**, **1 shotgun**, an **SMG**, and **838 rounds of ammunition**. Several non-custom-paid vehicles were also taken into custody.
Police registered separate cases against **28 individuals** involved in drug trafficking, illegal possession of arms, and violations of the tenancy law. Additionally, **four suspects** connected to street crimes were arrested, and stolen cars and motorcycles were recovered.
The report further stated that **1,107 Afghan migrants** were handed over to the Deputy Commissioner’s Office for further legal action.
Quetta police emphasized that the November operations are part of ongoing efforts to purge the city of narcotics, illegal weapons, and criminal activities. Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring public safety, vowing to take every necessary step to eliminate crime and maintain peace in the city.
