Pakistani Girl Allegedly Sold to Chinese Citizen Under Pretense of Marriage

Rawalpindi — A shocking case has emerged in which a Pakistani girl was allegedly sold to Chinese citizens under the pretense of marriage, with a video statement from the victim also coming to light.
According to Rawalpindi Police, investigations have been initiated following the girl’s complaint filed at **Sadiqabad Police Station**. In her video statement, the girl claimed she is a resident of Sadiqabad, where a woman named **Anaya** deceived her by saying her parents had passed away and promised to arrange her marriage with a Chinese citizen to ensure her happiness.
The girl stated that after the marriage, she discovered that the Chinese citizen had allegedly **purchased her for PKR 1.7 million**. She said it has been three months since the marriage, and she is now pregnant. When she asked her husband for money for medicines, he allegedly refused, stating she was “bought for 1.7 million and he owed her nothing.”
She further accused Anaya of **buying poor girls and selling them** and demanded strict legal action against her. The girl revealed that the Chinese citizen had taken her to **Islamabad E-11**, where other Chinese nationals were reportedly present, confirming that she was sold rather than married.
Police confirmed that they are aware of the case and are gathering more information to proceed with legal action.
