Egyptian Foreign Minister’s Visit to Pakistan to Open a New Chapter in Bilateral Relations

Islamabad: Egypt’s Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Ahmed Mohamed Abdelatty will undertake an official visit to Pakistan on November 29–30, 2025, at the invitation of Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar.

According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the visit reflects the strength of the longstanding, brotherly, and cordial relations between Pakistan and Egypt. The ties between the two nations are rooted in shared faith, cultural affinity, and aligned positions on regional and global issues. The visit is expected to give fresh impetus and expanded scope to cooperation in all areas, including political, economic, defence, cultural, and people-to-people exchanges.

During the visit, Dr. Abdelatty will hold a one-on-one meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, followed by formal delegation-level talks. Both sides will review the full spectrum of bilateral relations and hold detailed discussions on regional and international matters, particularly the situation in Gaza.

The visit by Egypt’s Foreign Minister is anticipated to serve as a significant milestone in strengthening Pakistan–Egypt cooperation and further reinforcing the long-term partnership between the two brotherly countries.
