Saudi Chief of General Staff Visits GHQ, Meets Pakistan Army Chief

Rawalpindi: Chief of General Staff of the Saudi Armed Forces, General Fayyad bin Hameed Al-Ruwaili, visited the General Headquarters (GHQ) and held a meeting with Field Marshal & Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir.
According to ISPR, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest, with a particular focus on enhancing the longstanding, strategic, and robust military cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, the two military leaders agreed on the need to further strengthen defence collaboration, security cooperation, and counterterrorism efforts—key pillars of the deep-rooted partnership between the two nations.
The distinguished guest appreciated Pakistan’s support and cooperation with the Saudi Armed Forces across various domains and expressed strong commitment to further expanding bilateral ties.
Upon arrival at GHQ, General Al-Ruwaili laid a wreath at the Yadgar-e-Shuhada and was presented with a guard of honour by a smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Army.
