Woman Robbed After Being Injected With Sedative During Home Robbery in Karachi’s Korangi

Armed robbers looted a house in Karachi’s Korangi 5½ G Area after injecting a woman with a sedative and rendering her unconscious, police said on Tuesday.
According to the FIR registered at Zaman Town Police Station on the complaint of the affected woman, the robbery was carried out by three suspects, including two women.
The complainant stated that she opened the door after a woman arrived claiming to sell household items. After being invited inside, the woman called her daughter on the phone, asking her to bring more goods. A young man entered the house along with the woman’s daughter by force.
The victim said the man showed her a weapon and injected her with a sedative. When she resisted, the suspect hit her head against a wall, causing her to lose consciousness.
According to the FIR, the suspects broke open a safe and stole Rs700,000 in cash, two gold sets weighing 15 grams each, four rings, a bracelet, and a mobile phone before fleeing the scene.
Police said further investigations into the incident are underway.
