Terrorist Attack Attempt on Gambila Police Station Foiled in Lakki Marwat

A terrorist attack on the Gambila Police Station in Lakki Marwat, southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, was successfully thwarted by the police. According to authorities, the police detected suspicious movement near the station and immediately initiated firing. The swift response by the police forced the terrorists to flee the scene.
Fortunately, no police personnel were harmed during the attack, and the assault was effectively repelled.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General (IG) Zulfiqar Ahmed Hamid praised the bravery of the Lakki Marwat police officers during a phone call, acknowledging their vigilance and quick response.
Regional Police Officer (RPO) of Bannu Division, Sajad Khan, stated that the police force had been on high alert and was equipped with advanced technology to tackle such threats, ensuring the safety of the public and maintaining law and order in the region.
