Allama Tahir Ashrafi: Pakistan Not Intimidated by India Using Afghan Soil Against It

Islamabad — **Chairman of Pakistan Ulama Council, Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi**, stated that Pakistan is not afraid of India using Afghan territory for actions against the country.
In a statement, Allama Tahir Ashrafi referenced remarks by Indian Muslim leader Maulana Arshad Madani, expressing gratitude for the blessing of Pakistan. He highlighted that India has been using Afghan soil against Pakistan for the past 30 years, yet Pakistan remains undeterred.
Ashrafi further noted the discrimination faced by minorities in India, stating that while Muslims can become mayors in London or New York, India’s 300 million Muslims cannot appoint a vice chancellor in their own universities. Christians and Sikhs face similar restrictions in India, he added.
Regarding Afghanistan, he said that while the country is strengthening ties with India against Pakistan, Pakistan has no fear, emphasizing that together they cannot harm the nation. He concluded by expressing confidence that, just as Allah granted Pakistan victory on May 9, divine support will continue in the future.
