Rana Sanaullah Accuses Aleema Khan of Delivering Messages Aimed at Creating Chaos

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister’s Adviser Rana Sanaullah has claimed that evidence exists showing Aleema Khan brought messages from her brother, former PTI chairman Imran Khan, that were aimed at creating chaos and disorder in the country. He said the government would not allow such attempts to succeed.
Rana Sanaullah said that if Imran Khan is in jail, he should serve his sentence. “If he wants to run a movement from inside prison and intends to spread anarchy and unrest, then he will have to face the consequences,” he asserted.
The adviser stated that the law gives the administration the authority to restrict meetings with inmates under certain circumstances. “If the administration’s stance is wrong, they can challenge it in court and get permission for meetings,” he added.
Commenting on the alleged manhandling of Imran Khan’s sisters outside Adiala Jail, Rana Sanaullah said the first step is to determine whether the incident actually involved violence. He noted that holding sit-ins is not an absolute right and that removing protestors falls within the administration’s powers, but such actions must be carried out without violence.
He emphasized that no one can justify violence against women, adding that the officials present at the scene should be questioned and their version of events recorded.
Rana Sanaullah concluded that the situation should have been handled properly without force and that the matter should ultimately be resolved in the Islamabad High Court.
