90% of Girls in Nal Drop Out After Matric Due to Lack of Higher Secondary Schools

Khuzdar (Qudrat Daily) — In Nal Tehsil of Khuzdar district, around **90% of girls are unable to continue their education beyond matriculation** due to the absence of higher secondary schools. The lack of higher secondary status for **Nal Girls High School, Hazarganji High School, and Darnili High School** is putting the future of thousands of girls at risk.

Being a tribal area, many girls cannot attend boys’ colleges, and the distance of **45–50 kilometers to Khuzdar city** makes commuting nearly impossible. As a result, their education often ends after matriculation.

Local residents emphasize that if higher secondary education facilities were available within their own areas, girls could continue their studies. They have appealed to the **Chief Minister of Balochistan, Commissioner Quetta Division, Deputy Commissioner Khuzdar, MPA Mir Younus Aziz Zehri, and the District Education Officer Khuzdar** to take immediate action to safeguard the educational future of girls in Nal.

The community demands that the three girls’ high schools in Nal be upgraded to **higher secondary level**, allowing local girls to pursue advanced education in their own villages and contribute to a brighter future for their families and society.
