JF-17 Thunder Shines at Dubai Airshow 2025; Joint Pakistan–UAE Flight Wins Hearts

ISLAMABAD – The Dubai Airshow 2025 opened at Al Maktoum International Airport with a spectacular display of aerial maneuvers, attended by leading figures from the global aviation and defense industries.
Aircraft from Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates were positioned side by side in the display area, drawing special attention from aviation enthusiasts and experts alike.
The skies roared with vibrant aerobatics as military and commercial aircraft from around the world performed high-skill flying displays. Spectators praised the high-altitude maneuvers, high-speed passes, and perfectly synchronized formations.
Once again, Pakistan’s JF-17 Thunder proved to be a star attraction. The fighter jet garnered admiration not only for its performance at the event but also in recognition of the Pakistan Air Force’s recent successes earlier in May. Many local and international visitors were seen taking photos with the Pakistani aircraft proudly adorned with the crescent-and-star flag.
Visitors also praised the exceptional skills of Pakistani pilots, who received loud applause during their breathtaking demonstrations. The joint aerial display by Pakistani and Emirati aircraft particularly captivated the audience, winning widespread appreciation for the seamless coordination and flying expertise.
The five-day airshow will continue to feature major international defense agreements, technology unveilings, and daily flight demonstrations.
