UAE Seeks Clarifications on US-Iran Ceasefire, Calls for Unconditional Reopening of Strait of Hormuz

Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that it will seek further clarifications regarding the ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran to ensure stability in the region.
According to the ministry, the clarifications aim to specifically prevent Iranian attacks and eliminate any potential threats against Gulf countries. Officials emphasized that the ceasefire can only be effective if Iran clearly outlines its policies and intended actions.
The statement also stressed the necessity of unconditionally reopening the Strait of Hormuz to avoid disruptions in global trade and the transport of oil. The closure of this crucial waterway could have serious repercussions for the global economy.
UAE authorities further highlighted the need to take a firm stance against Iran regarding attacks on Gulf nations and called for full compensation for any damages caused by such actions.
Analysts suggest that the UAE’s statement reflects the region’s intensified diplomatic activity and the complex post-ceasefire situation, as countries work to safeguard their strategic and economic interests.
