Notice Issued to Parties in Case Against Journalist Muttahullah Jan for Drug and Weapon Seizure

**Islamabad:** The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad held a hearing in the case against journalist Muttahullah Jan, who faces allegations of drug and weapon seizure. The hearing was presided over by Judge Tahir Abbas Supra.

Muttahullah Jan filed an application seeking acquittal in the case. Addressing the court, Judge Tahir Abbas Supra said, “You have the right; you have submitted the application. Present your arguments.”

The defense counsel stated that Mian Ali Ashfaq would present arguments in support of the acquittal request. The judge then directed the prosecution to review the application and present their arguments.

The defense counsel informed the court that Mian Ali Ashfaq was engaged in a hearing at the Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore. Consequently, the court issued notices regarding the acquittal application and adjourned the hearing for a later date.
