Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party Condemns Rampant Corruption in Balochistan, Demands Immediate Action

**Quetta (Qudrat Daily)** – The **Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PMAP)** has strongly criticized the provincial government for widespread corruption, commissions, and misappropriation of public funds, calling it the leading cause of underdevelopment and poor public services in Balochistan.

In an official press release from the PMAP provincial secretariat, the party expressed deep concern over the **misuse of public resources through fake and ghost schemes**, stating that 77% of funds are siphoned off through corruption, commissions, and percentages, leaving only 23% for actual development projects. The statement highlighted that while funds are released on paper through PC-1 forms, completed projects rarely materialize on the ground. Additionally, existing infrastructure projects, including roads and blacktop works, are deliberately mismanaged to facilitate further embezzlement.

The PMAP accused **anti-corruption bodies, NAB, and other transparency institutions** of remaining silent despite multiple audit reports and surveys exposing billions of rupees in corruption within provincial departments.

The party demanded that authorities **take immediate action against those involved in corruption and misappropriation**, warning that continued negligence would exacerbate poverty, inflation, unemployment, and insecurity in the province, further burdening already struggling citizens.

The press release concluded by emphasizing the urgent need for accountability and transparent governance to safeguard public resources and restore public trust.
