Balochistan Government Closes National Highway to Punjab for All Traffic

QUETTA: The Balochistan government has announced the closure of all types of traffic on the National Highway (N-70) leading to Punjab due to security and administrative reasons.

According to the Home Department of Balochistan, all transport, private vehicles, and taxi services on the Loralai route (N-70) will remain suspended from November 12 to November 14.

Officials said the decision was taken as a precautionary measure to ensure public safety and prevent any untoward incidents. The administration of concerned districts and law enforcement agencies have been directed to implement the order effectively.

The Home Department has urged citizens and travelers to use alternative routes and cooperate with authorities during the temporary closure. In case of emergencies, travelers have been advised to contact local officials for assistance.
