Security on Afghan Border in Balochistan Placed on High Alert Following Islamabad and Wana Attacks

**Quetta (Qudrat Daily)** — Following *suicide bombings* at the *Judicial Complex in Islamabad* and *Cadet College Wana*, security along all Afghan border areas in Balochistan has been *tightened significantly*.
According to security sources, the *Federal Ministry of Interior* issued emergency directives instructing the *Pakistan Army* and *Frontier Corps* to respond immediately and forcefully to any *cross-border intrusion or suspicious activity* from Afghanistan.
The heightened security measures have been implemented at key locations along the Balochistan-Afghanistan border, including *Chaman, Badini, Bahramcha,* and *Noruhab*. Authorities have increased the number of *security checkpoints* on all entry and exit routes and stepped up *patrolling along the border*.
Sources confirmed that the *Frontier Corps, Pakistan Army,* and *intelligence agencies* are conducting *joint surveillance* in these border zones to ensure swift action in case of any untoward incident.
