Pashtuns Facing Painful Circumstances as a Nation; Acting on Saeen Kamal Khan Sherani’s Ideals Is the Path to Salvation — Abdul Qahar Wadan

*Zhob (Daily Qudrat)* — The Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) Zhob and Sherani chapters organized a public gathering at Zarif Shaheed Park, Zhob, to mark the **15th death anniversary of Pashtun national leader Saeen Kamal Khan Sherani**. The event was presided over by the party’s provincial president, **Abdul Qahar Khan Wadan**.
Speakers included PkMAP’s Central Additional Secretary for Finance **Agha Syed Liaqat Ali**, Central Secretary **Abdul Haq Abdal**, Zhob district president **Jamal Mandokhail**, Senior Assistant Secretary **Abdul Khaliq Nasir**, Sherani district organizer **Dr. Qutubuddin Sherani**, and senior organizer **Obaidullah Harifal**.
The speakers paid rich tribute to Saeen Kamal Khan Sherani for his lifelong struggle, sacrifices, and historic role in the **Pashtun national movement**, describing him as a guiding light for generations to come. They noted that Sherani devoted his life to the cause of **Pashtun national emancipation, democracy, social justice, and self-determination**, and had actively fought for the rights of oppressed nations from the British colonial period to the authoritarian regimes in Pakistan.
In his presidential address, **Abdul Qahar Wadan** said that Pashtuns, as a nation, are currently facing a **painful and challenging situation**, emphasizing that **unity, organization, and collective struggle** for national cohesion and ownership of resources are essential for their survival and progress.
He added that the **Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party** takes pride in its consistent resistance against authoritarian forces and its sacrifices for provincial autonomy and democracy. The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to continue the struggle until the mission and vision of **Saeen Kamal Khan Sherani** are fully realized.
