Parliament Formed Through Form-47 Has No Right to Amend the Constitution, 27th Amendment Destroys Federal Structure — Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party

**Islamabad (Daily Qudrat)** — The **Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PMAP)** has declared that the **parliament and prime minister formed through the manipulated results of Form-47** have **no constitutional authority to amend the Constitution**, calling the **27th Constitutional Amendment** a direct assault on Pakistan’s **federal and democratic foundations**.

In a statement issued by the party’s **central secretariat**, PMAP said the **2024 general elections** were **rigged through money, power, and official manipulation**, and that altering election outcomes via Form-47 produced a **non-representative parliament**. The party stated that the **27th Amendment** seeks to **upend the balance of power between the federation and provinces**, which would effectively **end public representation and democratic legitimacy** — an act it described as **hostile to both the nation and its people**.

The statement recalled that the **February 8, 2024 elections** were condemned as the **most rigged in Pakistan’s history** not only by the **Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN)** but also by the **European Union, the United Nations, international observers**, and a **majority of national political parties**, all of whom rejected the results. Consequently, the **legitimacy of the parliament, prime minister, cabinet, and government** has become **highly disputed domestically and internationally**.

PMAP asserted that **installing a losing candidate as prime minister** and **tampering with election outcomes** is a blatant **violation of Pakistan’s Constitution** and the **death of democratic principles**.

The statement further said that attempts by **state institutions and bureaucrats** to dominate **political decision-making** have plunged the country into **multiple crises**, resulting in **complete political instability**. Pakistan, it warned, now faces **economic collapse**, with the **rupee’s value falling** and **foreign currencies surging**.

The party accused **powerful agencies and institutions** of **protecting corrupt and criminal mafias**, eroding the **credibility of constitutional bodies**. PMAP said that given the **grave regional and national circumstances**, it is the **urgent responsibility of all democratic forces**, including **political parties, the media, the judiciary, and civil society**, to **unite against the unconstitutional Form-47 regime** under the banner of the **“Movement for the Protection of the Constitution of Pakistan.”**

The party urged all democratic actors to **raise their voice for the immediate end of the Form-47 government** and to **defend the sanctity of the Constitution and the people’s mandate**.
