Chief Minister Bugti Vows Fair Use of Resources for Development

Announces Expansion of Sanjawi Hospital, New Buses for Colleges, and Reactivation of 14 Schools Sanjawi’s Status as a District Under Consideration

**Sanjawi (Daily Qudrat Quetta)** – Chief Minister of Balochistan **Mir Sarfraz Bugti** has said that the provincial government is ensuring the **effective and equitable use of resources** in all its policies to provide essential services to the people of remote areas at their doorstep. He emphasized that if development funds are utilized properly, **public welfare projects** will not only be effective but also **sustainable**.

Speaking at a public gathering in **Sanjawi** on Sunday at the invitation of Provincial Minister for Food **Haji Noor Muhammad Dummar**, the Chief Minister said that the people of Sanjawi — a beautiful yet remote area — deserve access to all basic facilities, and improving their standard of living is one of the **top priorities** of the Government of Balochistan.

### **Major Announcements for Health and Education**

The Chief Minister announced that the **Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Sanjawi** will be upgraded and expanded into a **fully functional 20-bed facility**, strengthened further through **public-private partnership**. He also announced **two new buses** for the **boys’ and girls’ colleges** in Sanjawi, along with the **construction of a new administration complex**.

Focusing on education, CM Bugti said that **14 non-functional schools** in Sanjawi and Ziarat regions will be **reactivated after the winter break**. Teacher shortages are being addressed immediately, and new recruitments are being made **purely on merit**. He also announced **new blocks and four buses** for the **Quaid-e-Azam Cadet College Sanjawi**.

### **Security and Development Measures**

To strengthen law and order, the Chief Minister announced the establishment of **four new police stations**, stating that the government’s decision to convert **“B areas” into “A areas”** might appear unpopular but is essential for **peace and stability** in the province.

Responding to long-standing public demands, he announced the **early resolution of Sanjawi’s land settlement issue** and the **construction of the Sanjawi Bypass Road**. He also revealed that the **proposal to grant Sanjawi district status** is under consideration, and it will be given **priority** when new divisions and districts are formed.

The event was attended by **provincial ministers, parliamentary secretaries, senior civil officials, tribal elders, notables, and a large number of local residents**.
