Political Leadership to Lead Life Warfare, Security Forces to Lead War Warfare — Unified Approach Key to Ending Terrorism: Balochistan CM Sarfraz Bugti

**Quetta (Daily Qudrat)** — Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti chaired a high-level meeting at the Central Police Office, Quetta, on Thursday, where key decisions were made to accelerate the merger of the Levies Force into the Police, modernize policing infrastructure, and enhance the martyrs’ compensation package.

The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, Inspector General of Police Muhammad Tahir Khan, Principal Secretary Babar Khan, Finance Secretary Imran Zarkoon, and other senior officials.

Inspector General Tahir Khan briefed the meeting on current challenges, operational issues, and proposed reforms. The Chief Minister directed that the merger process of the Levies Force with the Police be expedited to ensure operational uniformity and enhanced coordination among security institutions.

The meeting also decided to strengthen the communication and coordination between Police and the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), activate the Police Crime and Legal Branches, and address staff shortages through targeted recruitment.

It was further decided to provide the Police with advanced technology, forensic facilities, and an improved communication network to enhance investigation and counter-terrorism capabilities. The government will also revise and expand the *Shuhada (martyrs) package* to ensure better welfare and protection for the families of fallen officers.

Chief Minister Bugti emphasized that *“Political leadership will lead in life warfare while the forces will lead in war warfare — this integrated approach is the only guarantee for eradicating terrorism.”* He reaffirmed that the political leadership stands shoulder to shoulder with the security forces, providing full political, administrative, and moral support.

Paying tribute to Police Inspector *Lutf Khosa* and other officers martyred in Bhag Nari, the Chief Minister said their sacrifices will forever be remembered. He instructed officials to ensure immediate implementation of all decisions made during the meeting to further improve law and order across the province.
