Ban Imposed on Collecting Money from Students in All Government Schools of Quetta

**Quetta (Qudrat News)** — The **District Education Officer (DEO) Quetta** has imposed a **complete ban** on collecting any kind of money from students in all government schools across the district.

In an official notification issued on Wednesday, the DEO directed all **school heads, teachers, and education officials** that **no funds are to be collected from students under any pretext**, including examination or administrative purposes.

The notification was issued after complaints were received that some teachers were **collecting money from students** for various reasons. Taking **strict notice**, the DEO clarified that **“not a single rupee can be taken from students under any circumstances.”**

The DEO further stated that **budgetary allocations are already available** to cover school expenses, and **any financial irregularity will not be tolerated**.

The circular warned that **teachers or school heads found violating this directive will face strict departmental action** under the **Balochistan Education Employees Discipline and Accountability (BEEDA) Act, 2011**.

The DEO emphasized that the measure aims to ensure **free and equitable education** for all students and to **prevent the financial exploitation of families** sending their children to government schools.
