Rocket Attack on Jaffar Express Near Notal; No Casualties Reported
Security forces respond swiftly; attackers flee, search operation underway
**Quetta (Qudrat Daily):**
The **Jaffar Express**, traveling from **Quetta to Peshawar**, came under a **rocket attack** by unidentified assailants near **Notal** on Tuesday.
According to police, the attackers fired **three rockets** at the moving train. Fortunately, **no loss of life or property** was reported as the rockets missed their target.
Security forces **responded promptly** to the assault, but the attackers managed to escape from the scene. Following the incident, the area was **cordoned off**, and a **search operation** was launched to track down the perpetrators.
Police and railway authorities have initiated an **investigation** into the attack. Security sources said that the train’s movement was **temporarily suspended** but later **resumed its journey** toward its destination after clearance was given.
