Over 14,000 Illegal Residents Deported from Saudi Arabia in One Week

**Riyadh (Kudrat Daily):** Saudi authorities have intensified their crackdown on illegal residents, deporting **14,039 individuals** from the Kingdom within just one week.

According to the **Ministry of Interior**, between **October 16 and 22**, joint operations were conducted in collaboration with various government agencies, leading to the **arrest of 22,613 violators** across the country.

The ministry’s report revealed that **13,652 individuals** were found violating **residency laws**, **4,394** breached **border security regulations**, and **4,567** were involved in **labor law violations**.

Additionally, **23,021 foreigners** were handed over to their respective **embassies and consulates** to complete travel documentation, while **3,939** were transferred to finalize **deportation procedures**.

Authorities also detained **1,699 people** attempting to **illegally enter** the Kingdom, most of whom were **Ethiopian and Yemeni nationals**.
Furthermore, **35 individuals** were caught **trying to leave Saudi Arabia unlawfully**, and **23 others** were arrested for **harboring or employing illegal migrants**.

The Ministry of Interior warned that providing shelter or employment to illegal residents is a serious offense punishable by **up to 15 years in prison**, a **fine of one million Saudi riyals**, and **confiscation of property or vehicles** involved in the violation.

Officials reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to ensuring compliance with **residency, labor, and border regulations**, stressing that nationwide inspections and enforcement operations will continue.
