PCB Suspends NOCs for Pakistani Cricketers to Play in Foreign Leagues

Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has suspended No-Objection Certificates (NOCs) granted to national players for participation in foreign leagues, following the team’s recent defeat in the Asia Cup.

A formal notification issued by PCB Chief Operating Officer Sameer Ahmed confirmed that all previously issued NOCs have been put on hold.

The suspension directly impacts several top cricketers, including **Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan, Faheem Ashraf, Khushdil Shah, and Hassan Khan**, who had been cleared to participate in Australia’s Big Bash League.

According to sources, withholding the NOCs could affect players’ contracts with foreign franchises, as they may no longer be able to join their teams abroad.
