Polio Vaccination Drive Launched Across 26 Districts of Balochistan

Quetta: A large-scale anti-polio campaign has been launched in **26 districts of Balochistan**, including high-risk areas, with a target to vaccinate **2.179 million children**.

According to the Emergency Operations Center (EOC), a total of **8,933 teams** are participating in the campaign, supported by **652 fixed sites** and **459 transit teams** to ensure maximum coverage.

Authorities have also made **strict security arrangements** to protect polio workers during the drive.

The campaign is being carried out in several key districts, including **Quetta, Pishin, Chaman, Barkhan, Dera Bugti, Hub, Jaffarabad, Jhal Magsi, Kalat, Khuzdar, Loralai, Mastung, Nushki, Naseerabad, Sherani, Sibi, Sohbatpur, Usta Muhammad, Zhob, Musakhail, Chagai, Duki, Lasbela, and Ziarat**.

Officials reiterated their commitment to eradicating polio from the province and urged parents to ensure their children receive the vaccine drops.
