Balochistan High Court Orders Appointment of Dr. Raheela Manzoor as Registrar of SBK Women University, Declares Governor’s Intervention Illegal

**Quetta (Qudrat News)** — The *Balochistan High Court* has approved the constitutional petition of *Dr. Raheela Manzoor* and directed that she be formally appointed as *Registrar of Sardar Bahadur Khan Women University (SBKWU), Quetta*, within *15 days*.
Justice *Muhammad Najmuddin Mengal*, delivering the verdict, stated that *blocking the appointment by the Governor/Chancellor after approval from the Selection Board and University Syndicate constitutes illegal interference*. The court noted that once the syndicate approved her appointment, it had *legally attained final status*, and the Senate has no authority to re-advertise the post.
The ruling emphasized that the Governor’s intervention *violates Articles 4 and 27 of the Constitution*, as it infringes on a citizen’s right to *equal treatment and protection under the law*. The court ordered that Dr. Raheela Manzoor’s appointment be implemented *immediately* and that she be granted *all entitlements retroactive from April 22, 2025*.
