Wife Files Police Complaint After Husband Forces Her to Exercise for Hours to Look Like Nora Fatehi
Mumbai:In a bizarre and shocking incident from the Ghaziabad district of India, a woman approached the police with a highly unusual complaint: her husband allegedly forces her to exercise for hours every day so that she can resemble Bollywood dancer and actress Nora Fatehi.
According to Indian media reports, the woman told the police that her husband, a physical education teacher by profession, makes her undergo strenuous workouts for three hours daily. She claimed that he is an ardent fan of Nora Fatehi and insists that she must become as slim and attractive as the celebrity dancer.
In her official statement, the woman also alleged that her husband withholds food from her if she refuses to exercise, leaving her hungry for hours. Furthermore, she accused her in-laws of continuously demanding dowry and money, and of harassing her when their demands are not met.
Police have registered a case against the husband and his family members and have launched an investigation. However, no arrests have been made so far.
The incident has sparked both outrage and disbelief on social media, raising concerns about domestic abuse, unrealistic beauty standards, and the pressure placed on women within some marriages.
