Balochistan Government Dispatches Major Relief Consignment to Flood-Hit Families in Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Quetta: The Government of Balochistan has dispatched a large consignment of **relief goods** to assist flood-affected families in **Gilgit-Baltistan** and **Khyber Pakhtunkhwa**. According to government spokesperson **Shahid Rind**, the aid was sent on the **special directives of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti**, in light of the urgent needs of the affected populations.

The relief package includes **essential supplies and non-food items** which will be distributed among **1,500 families in Gilgit-Baltistan** and **1,000 families in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa**.

Spokesperson Shahid Rind and Director General of PDMA Balochistan, **Jahanzaib Khan**, oversaw the departure of the relief convoy. Rind emphasized that the Balochistan government stands in **solidarity with the people of the affected provinces**, describing the aid effort as a **symbol of humanitarian support and national unity**.

He added, “The people of Balochistan consider it their duty to share their resources, pain, and empathy with their fellow citizens during this difficult time.”

DG PDMA Balochistan, Jahanzaib Khan, confirmed that the relief items are of **high quality**, specifically chosen to meet the **immediate needs** of the affected families. The goods were prepared and inspected under **strict quality standards** to ensure they are practical and usable upon arrival.

“The PDMA has ensured that each item sent to the flood victims is reliable and ready for immediate use,” he stated, adding that the delivery process was made **timely and efficient** to maximize impact.

In a message on the occasion, Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti reaffirmed his government’s commitment, stating,

> “Helping flood victims is a top priority for the Government of Balochistan. We will not leave affected families alone in their time of need.”

This initiative highlights Balochistan’s **spirit of compassion, responsibility, and national solidarity** in the face of natural disasters.
