JI Balochistan Chief Warns of Long March from Jiwani to Karachi Against Illegal Trawling

Quetta:Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan and Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman Baloch has issued a stern warning to the government, demanding strict action against illegal Sindh-based trawlers operating along the Balochistan coast. “If these trawlers are not controlled, we will launch a long march from Jiwani to Bilawal House in Karachi,” he declared.
Addressing a massive welcome rally in his hometown Gwadar after his “Haq Do Balochistan Long March,” Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman slammed the Fisheries Department for its inaction, saying trawler mafias continue to loot marine resources in areas like Pishukan while authorities remain absent.
He vowed to resolve the long-standing drinking water crisis in Gwadar, promising sincere and honest efforts and implementation of all commitments made to the public. “I am always ready for accountability and not afraid of the false propaganda spread by my opponents,” he said.
Upon his arrival in Gwadar, Maulana received a heroic welcome. The city erupted in celebrations with supporters showering him with rose petals in every street and square. Youths carrying flags and chanting slogans, along with women and elderly citizens, warmly greeted their leader. The atmosphere in Gwadar was filled with joy, unity, and hope.
In his emotional address, Maulana stated, “Those who call Gwadar the next Singapore and the crown of CPEC are not even willing to provide basic rights and resources to its people. Borders are sealed, the internet is suspended, and highways are blocked — Balochistan has been turned into a prison.”
He emphasized that there would be no compromise or silence over public rights, adding that the struggle for justice and dignity will continue until the last breath.
