State Has Completely Failed to Protect Citizens’ Lives and Property: Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party

Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta), September 10: In a provincial press release, the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) strongly condemned the killing of party member Nazar Muhammad, a resident of District Chaman, and said that the continuous occurrence of murders, robberies, dacoities, and other crimes against citizens in Chaman city is extremely worrisome.
According to the statement, a few days ago, party worker Nazar Muhammad was severely injured as a result of firing by dacoits on College Road in Chaman. He was shifted to Chaman Civil Hospital for first aid and later referred to Quetta due to his critical condition, but he succumbed to his injuries and was martyred.
The statement said that the killing of Nazar Muhammad by dacoits’ firing in Chaman is extremely regrettable, and this is not the first such incident, as lawlessness and the lack of security for citizens have reached an alarming situation.
The statement said that due to criminal elements being given a free hand, the law and order situation is deteriorating day by day. The protection of citizens’ lives and property is the basic responsibility of the state and the administration. It is extremely regrettable that despite the incidents, no effective and decisive action against criminal elements is visible. Due to the negligence or weakness of the police and administration, the morale of criminal elements is rising, while ordinary citizens are suffering from fear and insecurity.
The statement demanded that the killers of Nazar Muhammad be arrested immediately and brought to justice, and that solid, effective, and lasting measures be taken for the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
Expressing deep sorrow and grief over this tragic incident, the statement said that the party expresses its heartfelt condolences and sympathy to Nazar Muhammad’s family and shares equally in the grief and sorrow of the martyr’s family. May Allah Almighty grant the deceased a place in His mercy, raise his ranks, and give the bereaved family the strength to bear this irreparable loss with patience and courage.
